This blog can get awfully quiet, and I want to step it up. I'm challenging YOU to participate! Just leave a comment on this post telling me what you love to do with sock yarn and you'll be entered into a random drawing on Saturday morning.
The prize is a skein of Bumblebirch Heartwood in Sunkissed! It's 100g/3.5 oz (463yd/423m) of 4-ply fingering weight in 75% superwash merino/25% nylon. Sunkissed is a lovely golden yellow gradient color. I'll even wind it up for you!
I'll start:
My favorite thing to with sock yarn is knit lace socks!
And that sock is in Sunkissed, of course!
ReplyDeleteI love to knit socks - mostly I prefer straight up vanilla ones because I find the patterning of lacy socks uncomfortable in my shoes, though.
ReplyDeleteI love making small triangular shawls out of sock yarn. 400 yards of fingering weight is just enough to cover your shoulders and keep your neck warm.
ReplyDeleteCrochet shawls I love shawls
ReplyDeleteOr bribe one of my knitting crafty witches to make me socks with it *evil grin*
The odds are good for this one! 33% each...
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your shop and your blog. Love your colorways. I'm a sock knitter and *must* make the pretty lacy socks you show in the Sunkissed picture.
