Bumblebirch is Back in Full Swing

Bumblebirch Wellspring in the vibrant Hydrangea colorway.

It's been a long time, friends. Yes, my break was somewhat longer than anticipated. I've been busy in the studio for months now, but haven't updated the blog in some time. A lot is going on around here:

Strange Bird shawl, knit in Bumblebirch Grove in Mineral, completed for the 2012 Ravellenic Games.

Bumblebirch Wellspring in Pacific.

Bumblebirch Wellspring in Glacier.

There's a still a lot of stuff behind the scenes, like a new website and new fall colorways.

Testing new colors. Sunkissed colorway in the middle.

All of the Bumblebirch yarns and colorways spread out on a counter.
New labels for the yarn.

Did I mention the new yarn? No?

Three of the new fall colorways: Snow, Mustard, and Embers.

This is Blossom, a merino + Suri alpaca blend in sport weight. A shawl or scarf made of Blossom would be toasty warm! Also returning for the cooler months is Forage, my worsted weight superwash merino yarn. It's so fluffy and squooshable and vibrant!

Piles of yarn, ready to go to Pearl Fiber Arts.
I'm back in full swing now! Please be sure to "like" Bumblebirch on Facebook to see more pictures and mini-updates.
